  • 2 TBSP Chilly powder
  • 1 TSP turmeric powder
  • 1 TBSP Salt


  • Vegetables - Potato, Onion, Paneer, Raw banana - Slice into thin slice

  • 2 Rice flour and 1 besan (Kadala Mavu)
  • Put some hot refined oil on top
  • Mix well
  • Add 2 TBSP Chilly powder
  • Add 1 TSP turmeric powder
  • Add 2 TBSP Salt
  • Make a thick batter
  • Cut small vegetables, soak in batter and fry in oil

  • 1 TBSP Jeera
  • 10 Green chillies
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil / refined oil

  • 4 Cups raw rice
  • Soak for 5 hours
  • Grind in mixie till it becomes soft
  • Add 1 TBSP salt
  • Keep it aside for 1 day to allow it to ferment
  • Add some water and dilute
  • Add1 TBSP  jeera,
  • Mix 10 green chillies , some salt and Hing in a mixie
  • Put 1 TBSP of above to the batter
  • Add one TBSP cocounut / refined oil
  • Put in the plate and steam it

  • Take a vessel, add water, Put 1 tbsp chilly water and then add the soaked sabudana and mix well
  • Add 1 TBSP lemon juice

When making masala dosa, once the edges starts browning and the dosa is cooked, reduce the heat, add 2-3 tbsp of potato masala, a little butter (optional ) and fold the dosa. Remove from tawa and serve hot

  • Chana, Black Chana, Rajma, Full urad – soak for 8 hours


  • Chana dal, Green urad – 2 hours
  • 1 TSP Mustard
  • 1 TSP Urad dal
  • Veg powder - 3 spoons
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 TBSP Lemon juice

  • Add 1 inch water above the soaked dal
  • Add Salt
  • Add Hing
  • 3-4 whistles
  • Switch off and remove the excess water


  • Take Kadai
  • Add 2 TBSP refined oil
  • Add 1 TSP Mustard, 1 TSP Urad dal,
  • Add : Vegetable powder – 3 spoons 
  • Add : 1 cup Coconut
  • Mix and add lemon juice if required depending on choice


  • For kadala paruppu, Payatam paruppu, Payaru – Add green chillies and not Vegetable powder
